History
Continental Lighting Systems was founded in 1976 by Ken Ceppos, Bob Ceppos, and Carmen Sherbert, bringing with them a solid background in fluorescent fixture manufacturing. Our current president, Randy Deutsch, joined the agency in 1984.
Today the agency has grown to over 25 talented individuals. The sales group includes former architects, lighting designers, distributors, and manufacturers. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and service and look to bring added value to our clients, whether they be lighting designers, architects, engineers, municipal agencies, contractors, distributors or end users.
Currently our agency represents over 38 premier manufacturers of specification grade equipment suitable for a vast array of applications. Our goal is to continue to provide quality service and products to our valued customers who comprise the New York lighting community.
